TV Mounting Gallery
“if your TV isn’t powering on, check to see if the standby light is flashing, note the sequence of flashes and search results online it may be a quick fix’. We recommend unplugging and plugging back in. If not accessible, safely flip the breaker.
“When masking tape is removed from marking a location, it has the potential to damage the paint. Depending on age of the paint on the wall matching it can be difficult”. We recommend using a pencil to make a faint mark instead.
‘‘Romex is often pulled in very close proximity to low voltage cables in the prewire process. They often pass directly through studs’’ We recommend using a “tick meter” to detect voltage anywhere you plan on hanging a TV to avoid a electrical nightmare.
“From my experience existing power outlets and low voltage boxes are often directly where the mount needs to land for customer location preference”. We recommend a recessed wall box that incorporates them both for a low profile finish.
“I always like to inspect the tv if the box has damage prior to the installation so there are no surprises”. We Recommend customers do the same.

To be prepared for a TV install please be sure all cables , remotes, and power cords are available. An idea of the height and location of where the TV will be mounted. Have any other required soundbar, home theater, cable box or audio video devices ready to go!

North River TV Tech offers TV Mounting Services that start at $99 for a simple TV install. Price may vary depending on the size of the TV and the mounting options chosen. While wire management and some device concealment services are included; optional extras like in-wall wire concealment, adding a soundbar, recessed wall box are available for an additional cost.
Example A: (Most popular)
A customer with a 65” TV, purchasing a full motion mount, in-wall wire concealment, 10 Ft HDMI and a soundbar attached to the TV can expect an invoice of or around $650.00.
Example B:
A customer with a 65’’ TV purchasing a fixed/tilt mount and the in-wall concealment option, with a 10 Ft HDMI can expect an invoice of or around $450.00
Example C: (least popular)
A customer with a 42-55’’ TV that owns their own mount and uses the provided TV mounting service option of external wire management can expect an invoice of $99.00
*Important note: Dismounting a TV previously installed to install a new TV is a separate cost.

Yes, the scope varies depending the type of fireplace gas, electric, or traditional brick.
From our experience gas and electric inserts tend to be easier to conceal cables. Brick fireplaces are typically more involved.

When deciding which mount is right for you, typically we starting with the screen size, viewing distance, and seating positions. We offer a variety of options such as:
Fixed TV Mount- Commonly used when viewing distance is short like a bedroom, conference room, or mostly smaller spaces. (least popular)
Tilt TV Mount- Popular with customers where the display is slightly above the line of sight when seated. Over a fireplace, furniture or a glare from sunlight.
Full Motion Mounts- An articulating mount that can be pulled away from the wall, swivels and tilts. A great option if the display is not directly in the line of sight. Most customers like the ease of access to the inputs of the TV. (most popular)
MantelMount- Works best for installs where the mantel is a higher than average. We also carry motorized options!
